Weight loss reversed obesity-induced HGF/c-Met pathway and basal-like breast cancer progression

Liza Makowski, assistant professor of Nutrition, published “Weight loss reversed obesity-induced HGF/c-Met pathway and basal-like breast cancer progression” in Frontiers in Oncology as part of the research topic focusing on “Obesity: An important driving force behind inflammation, altered immunity and cellular metabolism.” Makowski lab co-authors include lead author Dr. Sneha Sundaram, Trinh L Le, Luma Essaid, Dr. Alex J Freemerman, and Megan J Huang.
