Drs. Victoria Bae-Jump (associate Professor OB/GYN) and Liza Makowski (assistant professor, Nutrition) have just published a manuscript entitled “Obesity increases tumor aggressiveness in a genetically engineered mouse model of serous ovarian cancer” in a special issue of Gynecologic Oncology entitled, “The Obesity Crisis: Impact of Gynecologic Cancer.” The project was funded by UNC funds (UCRF, NORC and NCTracs), as well as DOD, and NIH, among others.
